Description

The setup consists of catalyst packed column of Stainless Steel. Reactant from a feed tank is fed to the reactorthrough liquid distributor, fitted at one end of thecolumn. Some part of product is recycled to the reactorusing peristaltic pump. Peristaltic Pumps are provided tomeasure the individual flow of feed & recycled product.The feed rate and recycle product ratio can be operatedby the respective peristaltic Pumps. Samples can be takenperiodically from the top outlet of reactor at another end.An arrangement is made to carry out the reaction at Isothermal conditions by circulating the hot water in theouter jacket of the packed bed reactor. Arrangement isdone for proper mixing is done of feed & recycle productbefore its entry to the reactor.
