Description

The unit consists of a strong glass column containing boiling liquid. A heater, at bottom, inside the column heats the fluid to boil. A Digital Temperature Controller is provided to have a smooth control on desired temperature conditions as per end user requirements.This control facilitates end user to control required heat input to the heater, automatically, and further steady state of experiment is achieved in very less time as compared to manual control. A water cooled coil in the upper part of the column,condenses the vapour and returns it to the boiling liquid. The condenser cooling water rate can be measured and controlled by Rotameter. Temperature sensors are also fitted to observe the temperature at various points. The set-up is complete with pressure safety switch, pressure gauge and safety valve.
