Description

The column is made of Stainless Steel with seven platesfor mounting the bubble caps. Each plate is provided withone bubble cap. An electrically heated reboiler is installedat the bottom of the column. The bottom product iscollected in the tank. The vapours form at the top ofcolumn are condensed in the shell and tube typecondenser by cooling water supplied by laboratoryoverhead tank. The condensate is divided into reflux anddistillate by automatic reflux divider and R/D Ratio can bevaried. Reflux is fed back to the column and distillate isreceived in a receiving tank. The complete column isinsulated for minimizing the heat loss. Instrumentationprovided for pressure & temp. measurement wherevernecessary.
