Description
The equipment consists of jacketed pressure vessel fordistillation. Steam from a steam generator can either beallowed to enter in the outer jacket or in the vessel. Thevapors form the top of the vessel are condensed in theshell and tube type condenser by circulating coolingwater, supplied by laboratory overhead tank. Thecondensate is collected in a separating chamber. The setupis fitted with steam trap, control valves, pressuregauge, temperature sensors and other instrumentationsrequired.
